There's Still Plenty of Hearts to Help!
Ony - Currently Available for Adoption

Valentine's Day may have passed, but that doesn't mean the new dogs stop coming!

Thank you to everyone who made a Valentine's donation to help the heart health of our incoming dogs. The Healthy Heart Fund is active until the end of 2011, so there's plenty of time to donate!

And you'll still get a nice card, too!
Help a Heart this Valentine's Day

It's the holiday for hearts...

What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than to help the heart of an incoming dog? They'll love you for it! Shanna is already ready for her forever home, but the new dogs we get every week need heartworm tests and preventative medicine.

Consider giving a dog a Happy Valentine's Day by contributing to the Healthy Heart Fund!

If you would like to make a contribution in honor of someone else for Valentine's Day, we'll send them a card! Just add a note to your PayPal payment with the name address of the person it's for.
Healthy Heart Fund
This is Shanna Chimes. She's one of hundreds of dogs saved in 2010. Just like with any dog SmallDog Rescue takes in, Shanna was tested for heartworms and was put on monthly heartworm prevention. Heartworm tests and prevention are two of the most basic needs we meet for the dogs we take in. For 2011, we have created a fund specifically to cover these two vital items necessary to keep a dog's heart healthy and heartworm free!

The total is the estimated cost of testing every new dog for heartworms and providing them with monthly prevention until they are adopted. These funds will be used solely for the heart health of our dogs.

With your help, we can reach our goal and give future Shannas a new chance at life. Thank you!
